Students Active Engagement Within Classroom Setting

They worked together to fill in their book and presented their answers to the class. Teams that finished early enjoyed the practice quizzes and vocabulary flashcards. Students also practiced decomposing polygons today. They also tested their growth mindset and patience.

In Ms. Bravo's 5th grade classroom, students used unit cubes to demonstrate the volume of multiple rectangular prisms. While, in her history class, students participated in a gallery walk activity where they analyzed images of cave art and hypothesized about the lives of prehistoric humans using the methodology of social scientist.
