Wildlife Presentation

The Weekday field trip includes a 30 minute Wildlife Presentation given by the students of the Animal Care and Training Program in the Wildlife Theater. This will allow your group to see a variety of animals up close and learn more about each of them. Student presenters work to make the program appropriate for the age and grade level of the group.

Tour of the Zoo

Weekday Field Trips also include a 45 minute tour of the Zoo. Depending on group size, this may be a guided tour given by a student or a self-guided tour with students stationed around the Zoo to continue to educate about the animals you encounter. You will see animals such as Macaws and Monkeys, Tigers and Tortoises to name a few.

Our Weekday field trip programming is a set time and is available throughout the year on select weekdays.

Field Trip Itinerary:
10AM - Arrival & Check in
10:15AM - Seated for the Wildlife Presentation in Wildlife Theater
10:30AM - 11:00AM - Wildlife Presentation
11:00 - 11:50AM - Tour of the Zoo

We ask that all groups exit the Zoo after the scheduled Field Trip Programming. Our students move onto other academic classes and we do not have supervision to host your group past the scheduled time. Please see FAQs below about spaces to eat lunch.
